A new Nuvoton's Pro-X™ series (PROgrammable EXtended CODEC/SLIC) includes 2 devices: W681388 and W682388. They support the FXS telephone line interface optimized for short loop applications up to 4 kft (1.2 km) in PSTN networks. Each device includes SLIC (Subscriber Line Interface Circuit), programmable Codec and DC/DC controller. W681388 supports single port FXS, single Codec and single DC/DC controller however W682388 supports dual FXS telephone line interface, dual Codec and dual DC/DC controller.
